Haven for Healing Exchange Network is built on people helping people, and trust becomes even more important as our communities grow and connect across cities, states, and eventually beyond.
Identity verification is one safeguard that helps confirm that members are real people and are who they say they are, providing greater confidence when exchanging services, resources, transportation, shared spaces, or other forms of support and especially with someone you have never met before.
In everyday life, many of us have become comfortable entering personal information online when purchasing products, ordering food, arranging deliveries, booking accommodations, or requesting services. We may never know the person who handles our order, delivers our package, or provides the service, yet we place a certain level of trust in the company or platform connecting us. The Exchange Network is trying to create something different: connection rather than anonymity. Instead of people remaining random strangers completing transactions, we want members to become part of a trusted community where people can build a history of helping, sharing, and supporting one another.
After an exchange is completed, members also have the option to leave a review about their experience. Reviews help other members make informed decisions and allow each person to build a history of positive participation within the Network. As communities grow across different cities and states, that history becomes even more valuable.
Together, identity verification and member reviews help create transparency, reliability, accountability, and trust by giving members greater confidence in the people they connect with while helping us build a community where we can increasingly rely on and support one another.
