It’s been really interesting to me lately… watching people try to come up with just five things they could offer in the exchange network. Five. And they struggle. Not because they don’t have anything to offer…
but because somewhere along the way… we forgot.

We’ve been so conditioned to think, “If I can’t get paid for it, it doesn’t count.” “If it’s not a job, it’s not valuable.” And that’s just not true.

Money has narrowed our thinking so much that we’ve lost connection with the things we actually enjoy…
the things that bring us peace, creativity, even joy.

People are overthinking it. It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Do you like calligraphy?
Do you enjoy baking?
Are you a stay-at-home mom who loves making homemade bread or cookies?

Imagine this: you bake, you earn credits doing something you love…and then you use those credits to have someone come watch your kids so you can have time to yourself… or keep baking… or just breathe. And maybe that person? Maybe it’s a teenager in their last year of high school who loves being around kids and wants to earn credits too. That’s what this is about.

It’s about remembering that we are more than our jobs. More than a paycheck.

We’ve been reduced by a system that tells us our value is tied to money… and in the process, we’ve forgotten the simple, human things that actually make life feel good. And honestly… that’s the saddest part. But also…
that’s exactly why this network matters. Because it helps us remember.

Together we are building a structural and cultural shift.
