Service Timeline

Request Timeline

Haven for Healing Exchange Network includes a structured Request Timeline System designed to encourage reliability, responsiveness, and trust within the community.

Members may request services based on urgency and timeline needs, while providers are recognized with additional automatic credits for responding to higher-priority requests.

This system helps balance fairness, accountability, and community support while recognizing the time, preparation, inconvenience, and urgency involved in rapid-response exchanges.

The Request Timeline System helps create a network where:

  • Reliability is valued

  • Urgent community needs can be met quickly

  • Members are recognized for responsiveness

  • Accountability protects both providers and receivers

  • Exchanges remain structured, fair, and sustainable

The goal is not punishment but to encourage communication, consistency, reciprocity, and trust so the network can grow into a dependable support system for everyone involved.

Request Level Response Timeline Automatic Priority Credits

Urgent Request Same-day response needed +4 Credits

High Request Service needed within 1 week +3 Credits

Moderately High Request Service needed within 2 weeks +2 Credits

Moderate Request Service needed within 3 weeks +1 Credit

Low Request Flexible timeline / whenever available No automatic credits

These automatic credits are awarded in addition to any exchange agreement made between members, including credit-only or hybrid credit + cash/material reimbursement agreements.
How Urgent Requests Work

Urgent requests recognize that some situations require immediate support, flexibility, travel, scheduling changes, or emergency response.

When a member accepts an Urgent Request, they automatically earn 4 priority credits, plus any additional credits, hybrid agreements, fuel reimbursement, materials, or negotiated arrangements between members.

Example

A member is stranded 120 miles away and needs their vehicle towed the same day.

The provider may receive:

  • 4 automatic urgent-response credits

  • PLUS a negotiated agreement such as:

    • 16 additional credits

    • PLUS $100–$150 fuel reimbursement

Example Total:
20 credits + fuel reimbursement

This allows urgent needs to be addressed while honoring the provider’s time, travel, preparation, fuel costs, responsibility, and availability.

Accountability & No-Show Policy

The Exchange Network is built on trust, reliability, and mutual respect. Members who commit to an exchange are expected to communicate and follow through whenever possible.

Standard No-Show

If a member agrees to a service exchange and fails to show up or communicate within the agreed timeframe:

  • 2 credits will be deducted from their account.

This policy exists to reduce inconvenience, protect member time, and support a dependable community exchange system.

Urgent Request No-Show

Urgent requests involve higher levels of commitment and immediate need. If a member accepts an urgent request and fails to show up or communicate:

  • 4 credits are deducted for the failed urgent response

  • PLUS an additional 2-credit missed agreement deduction

Total Deduction:

6 credits

This higher accountability standard reflects the impact urgent no-shows can have on members experiencing immediate needs or emergencies.
