Credit Tier Valuation

Below is the credit tier for Service Exchange within the Network.

Each program within Haven for Healing Exchange Network maintains its own defined credit tier structure. Credit valuations are established based on the specific level of skill, responsibility, preparation and resources required.

Service Exchange Credits

The exchange network:

• Provides the platform and structure for exchanges
• Facilitates credit transfers
• Does not guarantee service quality or outcome of participation

• Is not responsible for agreements, outcomes, or exchange between members

WHY THE STRUCTURE

As a society, we have been conditioned to believe that everything must cost money. Haven for Healing Exchange Network is here to introduce another option.

So many people pay for subscriptions and services they rarely use or no longer feel are worth the cost- Haven for Healing Exchange Network removes that burden. There is no subscription, no monthly fee, no membership cost, and no obligation to participate. The only contribution is a simple $4 shared exchange for individuals and $25 minimum for businesses, and only when an exchange happens.

That means you are not paying just to belong. You contribute only when value is being actively exchanged.

Every program in the Exchange Network has a structured credit tier and hybrid options

CREDIT TIER STRUCTURE

The credit tier system is designed to recognize the level of training, preparation, responsibility, and expertise required for a service. It does not represent the worth or value of a person. Every contribution strengthens the Exchange Network and supports a thriving community of reciprocity and abundance. The Exchange Network provides structure and guidance, but members maintain discretion within reasonable bounds.

Service agreements remain solely between the members participating in the exchange. Haven for Healing Exchange Network and Haven for Healing Community Wellness, Inc. function exclusively as a connecting platform for members.

Credits reflect labor, plus the actual cost of materials, transportation, and any sourcing time. Members can mutually agree to adjust credits depending on:

• Complexity

• Responsibility
• Travel time
• Urgency
• Preparation required

MEMBERS AGREE FIRST

● Who will purchase the materials

● Whether credits reflect labor only

● Or labor plus materials, transportation, and sourcing

Members select a tier when listing their service.

The network may review if necessary for consistency or discrepancy.

CREDITS

• Members must have enough available credits in their accounts before receiving services.

• Members can go as low as -10 credits up to 12 months. Members with a negative balance may not receive services until the account is brought back to zero or positive credit.

• Credits expire at 24 months unless a credit extension form is filed and approved.

• Inactive accounts of twelve (12) months will expire unless a credit extension form is filed.

• Expired or inactive credits go into the Community Network Pool and recirculates back into the community.
• The board may review and adjust credit tier structures periodically.
• Awareness of excessive credit inflation may be adjusted by board policy to ensure integrity, balance and fairness.

• 1 hour = 1 credit/unit

• Time is rounded up to the nearest quarter hour. Time is valued. Every minute counts.

• 1 hour 25 minutes = 1.5 credits AND 1 hour 40 minutes = 1.75 credits

MEMBERS MAY OFFER SERVICES IN MULTIPLE TIERS

• House cleaning → Tier 1
• Landscaping → Tier 2
• Carpentry → Tier 3
• Construction project consulting → Tier 4

The more you contribute to the network the greater potential you have to earn credits for your needs and wants.

Services may appear in more than one tier depending on training, tools, preparation, expertise and responsibilities.

GOODS VS. TIME-BASED- 1 to 4 Credits

Some contributions are “Goods, Merchandise & Produce” rather than hourly labor.

Examples- dozen eggs, gluten-free bread, herb bundles, honey, goat’s milk, fresh produce, extra fabric, wood, parts, and similar items.

To maintain fairness and balance within the network, goods, merchandise and produce follow a standardized credit structure that reflects the resources, care and preparation involved however, you are always encouraged to agree to what feels fair to each member involved.

Other contributions and services remain time-based or covered by other program standards and tiers.

Members may use their own discretion to agree on terms and conditions.

SERVICE EXPANSION

Not all exchanges need to be local. The Network supports both community-based and distance-based exchanges. Skills, wisdom, and support can travel beyond geographic boundaries.

Services such as tutoring, coaching, consulting, graphic design, bookkeeping, language instruction, spiritual support, or mentoring can be offered beyond local boundaries, reaching clients in other cities, states, and even countries. Members simply agree to the arrangement.

Our model is sustainable, scalable, and adaptable. It focuses on human contribution as a lasting, equitable way to meet needs beyond local communities.

Haven for Healing Exchange Network turns skills into shared currency, service into connection, and trust into a thriving community.

For too long, money has overshadowed the inherent worth within each of us. When we look beyond it, we rediscover the abundance of human gifts, skills, and contributions that have always existed around us and developed a way to honor it.

Negative Credit Balance

Members may have a credit balance as low as -10 Service Credits but not exceed this limit.

If a member’s balance is negative, they may continue participating in the network with the understanding that they will offer services to earn credits until their balance returns to a positive amount.

Members may remain in a negative balance for a period of twelve (12) months while actively contributing and rebuilding their credits. If the balance remains in the negative for beyond 12 months, the account will be deactivated. Member may reinstate participation in the network but will open an account with a zero (0) credit. Member will not earn credits for rejoining the network. The member will be reinstated as a "provisional member" until credits are earned.

During this time, because no credits are available for transfer, the member is responsible for the $4 Shared Contribution per exchange despite of not having credits. The shared contribution helps to facilitate the credit transfer to the receiving member and maintain operations and infrastructure of the network.

Participation under these conditions reflects the members’ agreement to:

  • Continue contributing to the network

  • Restore their balance through service

  • Support fair and balanced exchanges

  • Maintain integrity and respect while participating in the network

The credit tier valuation helps ensure sustainability, fairness, and continued access for all members. The structure is designed to support sustainability, consistency, and clarity across Haven for Healing Exchange Network. By offering a standardized framework, the network creates a shared understanding of how contributions are valued, whether through time, skill, preparation, or resources. This structure helps prevent confusion, reduces imbalance, and allows members to engage with confidence, knowing there is a fair and thoughtful system guiding exchanges. It also ensures that the network can grow in a stable and organized way while maintaining integrity across all levels of participation.

At the same time, the structure is not meant to limit personal choice or autonomy. Members are encouraged to make decisions that feel aligned, fair, and true to them within each exchange. The tiered system serves as a guide rather than a rigid rule, allowing flexibility and human connection to remain at the center of every interaction. This balance between structure and personal discernment helps preserve both accountability and the relational nature of the network, where trust and mutual respect are essential.

It is also important to understand that credits are not a reflection of monetary value. Because of this, they may not always appear “equal” when compared to money-based systems. However, within the context of the exchange network, credits are designed to reflect contribution, access, and reciprocity and not market pricing. What may seem unequal in a monetary sense is balanced within the credit system through shared participation and mutual benefit. Over time, this creates a different kind of fairness, one rooted in contribution, community, and the recognition that value extends beyond money.
