The Community Credit Pool

The Community Credit Pool (CCP) is funded through voluntary credit donations from members, in-kind service contributions provided without accepting credits, and unused service credits that expire after their holding period. These credits are recirculated to strengthen the community and provide temporary assistance to members who need additional support.

Members who are temporarily short on service credits may submit a request for assistance from the Community Credit Pool. Requests are reviewed based on demonstrated need, available credits, and the member's participation in the network, with consideration given to circumstances such as illness, disability, caregiving responsibilities, or other significant life challenges.

Members who request assistance more than once may be asked to meet with a Community Network Coordinator to identify meaningful ways they can contribute to the network, when reasonably able, helping ensure the Community Credit Pool remains a sustainable and equitable resource for all members.
